Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 May 2026
Karmo (“Karmo”, “we”, “us”) is built and operated by Portonics. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we'd rather you actually read it.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email, company name, and workspace subdomain when you sign up.
- Content you create — projects, work items, comments, time logs, and files you upload.
- Usage data — basic logs and device information used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and improve Karmo, secure your workspace, communicate service updates, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we never use the content inside your workspace to train third-party models without your explicit instruction.
Sharing
We share data only with vetted infrastructure providers that help us run the service (hosting, email, payments), under contracts that require them to protect it. Partner and client users you invite only see the projects you assign them to.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from your workspace settings, or by contacting us. We retain workspace data while your account is active and delete it within 90 days of account closure.

Terms of Use
Last updated 29 May 2026
By creating a workspace or using Karmo, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to do so.
Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Karmo, and you agree to provide accurate signup information.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service — see our Acceptable & Fair Use policy. We may suspend workspaces that violate it or that put the platform or other customers at risk.
Plans & billing
Karmo is free for teams of up to three members. Paid plans are billed at a flat per-user rate, in advance, and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period.
Your content
You own everything you put into Karmo. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate the service. We claim no ownership over your projects, work items, or files.
Warranty & liability
Karmo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
Acceptable & Fair Use
Last updated 29 May 2026
“Unlimited usage” means unlimited for real teams doing real work. This policy exists only to stop genuine abuse — not to nickel-and-dime you.
Please don't
- Resell or sublicense Karmo, or use it as a backend for an unrelated product.
- Run automated scraping, load testing, or crypto-mining against the platform.
- Upload unlawful content or anything that infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to breach security, access other workspaces, or disrupt the service.
Fair use
Storage, API calls, and AI actions are generous and suit normal team usage. If an account's usage is so far outside normal patterns that it threatens platform stability, we'll reach out and work with you before taking any action. If you're running a real team, you will never hit this.
